Over the years, I have seen many talented therapists become qualified in their specific modality, only to later return to their former role because they found the reality of being a solopreneur so challenging. Many marketing programmes are unethically priced, and are often based upon sleazy or questionable sales tactics. Plus, they tend to be geared towards people who are seeking a six-figure income, and whilst this may sound great, it is not usually the goal of healing practitioners, most of whom simply want to make a good living doing work which they love, and which they find meaningful. So, now I offer 1-1 support for healing practitioners who genuinely want to help people with their services.
The people that I work with are typically heart-centred individuals who are seeking to fulfil a higher purpose in life, and who want to make a difference in the world through their work. As an advocate of an integrated approach to health, I appreciate that wellbeing service providers come in many different varieties, and offer a wide range of therapeutic services. With this in mind, I welcome providing mentorship for anyone who has a genuine desire to support others through their work, no matter what type of modalities they provide.
Here are just a few of the types of healing practitioners that I typically work with:
Having worked in healthcare for over 35 years now, my experience includes a variety of roles including working as a registered nurse in NHS acute hospital wards, GP surgeries, and health promotion. In addition, I have been running my own practice as a holistic therapist, health coach, and specialist in the mind-body connection for over 20 years.
Therapist Academy is my hub for health and care professionals, where all types of healing practitioners can expand their knowledge about the mind-body connection, and how to integrate holistic health practices into their own life and work.
Since I have a background in healthcare, my focus here is on helping people from a variety of health-related backgrounds who have an active interest in learning more about holistic health. Including nurses, healthcare assistants, social care workers, and caregivers.
My intention is to offer ethical, and accessible mentorship and support programmes, so that wellbeing providers can elevate their skills in holistic health, and help more people through their services.
